Appraisal Authorization & Payment
What to Expect Next
You're making great progress, this is one of the final steps needed to move your loan forward.
An appraisal is an independent report ordered by your lender to confirm the home's value and condition. This protects you, the lender, and ensures your loan meets required guidelines.
Why an Appraisal Is Required
An appraisal is used to:
- Confirm the home's market value
- Ensure the property meets lending requirements
- Support your final loan approval
The appraisal is completed by a licensed, independent appraiser, not ReNew Lending and not your loan officer.
